Description
This is a custom turned striker from Brazilian Tulipwood. Tulipwood is an exotic wood native to the tropical region of South America, mainly Brazil. It is hardened heavy wood, with a rather fine texture and has a Janka Hardness rating of 2560. These work on any surface. In the top three strikers available, in my opinion. Brazilian Tulipwood, like all Rosewoods , was recently added to the CITES list level two. This places restrictions on it’s import and export. It has become very hard to find and has quadrupled in price in the last year. Cannot ship out of the United States due to containing Rosewood which is internationally restricted to sell across a border.
